The 3rd single performances will come. This is just the beginning. To be fair though shes been saying "this is just the beginning" since the beginning of January, when she went on a rant in LM's.com. Alot of fans got hyped which is understandable. Its almost March and weve got nothing. It comes across like she aint got a clue what to do with her career. If you liked the performance and thought this was a great idea good for you, but you need to understand that other people have different opinions than you, and you need to accept that. She impressed with the vocals (as always ) but it was really nothing special. I'm not complaining tho, just being critical. I'm not one of those who stand by everything she does. Why does everyone feel the need to b---h and wine about it? And its not just this performance it is everything she does since Applause came out. First it was about how boring the VMA performance was. Then it was how lame the GMA performance was. Then everyone complained about the DWUW video. (which started in November and is STILL going) Then it was the vinyl delay. Then people fighting over the third single. And now you are complaining that she didn't sing the song you wanted. Calm the f*ck down! Do you really think we will have a successful and happy era if all you do is complain? Im sorry but that does not make sense! She is trying to start the era with a fresh start and you are stopping her. No wonder she lift for 3 months. And by the way who cares if ARTPOP is the single. Who cares if the GP doesn't like it and it wont play on radio. If you want to hear it in your car so bad plug in you freaking iPod! Its not that hard! One day it's GUY, then Venus, then Aura, now ARTPOP. It is ridiculous. By performing ARTPOP, I agree that it acted as the true "birth" of ARTPOP. By doing so, she drew interest in the album and the song. If viewers look up the song, they will be greeted with an album, not just GUY, or Venus. Also, if you want another potential explanation, think about this. There has been a huge uproar (that is still argued about) concerning the DWUW video. People were impatient, argued, and harassed Gaga and her team. By NOT performing the next single, she is staving on the harassment of "when is the video out...you owe us..." and on and on. If it is intentionally left up in the air until she has a solid release date, then she can announce both to satisfy the crowd. This performance acted as a rebirth to the album, and as she prepares the single, she is able to eliminate the "soons" and appease the masses.
