tristessa 0
I think it's a little ridiculous to say that if you don't like or agree with something she may have said in the interview, you're just victimizing her more. It's like, we're all humans, jeez... I thought this was a very nice interview, I especially liked the part about how it's not all an "act", but to be honest we knew a lot of this before. What I did take from it that's refreshing is that she's seems to be feeling confident again, got some of that attitude back, and hopefully this will show as she moves on with the ARTPOP era and deals with all the challenges that lie ahead. Gaguita 0
Best part: " Depression doesn't take away your talentsâ€â€it just makes them harder to find. But I always find it. I learned that my sadness never destroyed what was great about me. You just have to go back to that greatness, find that one little light that's left. I'm lucky I found one little glimmer stored away." AMAZING.

TimisaMonster 31,073
HB: What's the biggest thing you've learned about yourself so far? LG: I became very depressed at the end of 2013. I was exhausted fighting people off. I couldn't even feel my own heartbeat. I was angry, cynical, and had this deep sadness like an anchor dragging everywhere I go. I just didn't feel like fighting anymore. I didn't feel like standing up for myself one more timeâ€â€to one more person who lied to me. But January 1, I woke up, started crying again, and I looked in the mirror and said, "I know you don't want to fight. I know you think you can't, but you've done this before. I know it hurts, but you won't survive this depression." I really felt like I was dyingâ€â€my light completely out. I said to myself, "Whatever is left in there, even just one light molecule, you will find it and make it multiply. You have to for you. You have to for your music. You have to for your fans and your family." Depression doesn't take away your talentsâ€â€it just makes them harder to find. But I always find it. I learned that my sadness never destroyed what was great about me. You just have to go back to that greatness, find that one little light that's left. I'm lucky I found one little glimmer stored away. Stream my new single, 💜"Heartbeat"💜, on Spotify!
Jjang 2,262
*I'd ask her to do a duet with meâ€â€that would be original. Then I would tell her that I'm so happy she didn't die young. *Why does she feel like she's going to die young :/
Lion Heart 15,041
That was a really revealing interview and I hope she's in a much better track now. A few of you really need an attitude adjustment; seriously stop. ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀
Mills 446
Among all the artists I've followed, she seems to be the most vocal about her creativity, doesn't she? And there's nothing bad about it or anything. I just love how she's applying the law of attraction ever since her debut. Unfortunately, it has also attracted the adverse ones. Bloody hooker 6,445
HB: What are your guilty pleasures? LG: Russian hookers and cheap gin. At least I'm honest. I actually laughed, because of the reference from MJH. This mutual gaze was a “longing to touch” or a "pre-coitus" stare.
JazzGa 14,530
Wow, this was a great interview and they asked interesting questions!! Lots of new info. :D I love her Harper's Bazaar articles every time, they always have fantastic weird fashion and long interviews and personal answers. :3 I keep everything in an enormous archive in Hollywood. The clothes are on mannequins, also on hangers and in boxes with a photo of each piece, and there's a Web site where I can go to look through everything. Lawd what I would give for a link to that website Or if she ever opened her archive for tours!! My old cat is a tough man, but i cant deny the way he bites my hand and he stabs me, he grabs me by my heart <
Mama Ru 994
God, I just love her so much. Also, am I the only one whose life always seems to have this weird synchronicity with hers? I was recently feeling the same way as her, and then found that light once again just like she did. (That's just the most recent example) She really is us. Im blonde, I'm skinny, I'm rich, and I'm a little bit of a bitch.

Shadow 6,495
I'll say what I said in the other thread... I enjoyed her interview, she seemed more open and it looks like we were right about her being depressed during the holidays and into the new year. It appears the Troy Carter split really hurt her, though I hope she understands that as artistic and beautiful her platform can be, it is still a business and there are people who go into the industry to score riches. As long as there is that distinction at least under the table, her art will have plenty of room to flourish and she could very well find those she can work with who appreciate her talents and her as a person, not just a money maker. What is it with people? Okay, I'd like her to progress with her head high and two feet on the ground, but some of seem to have no idea how depression works, how it scars the mind, and how it takes time for the person to collect themselves after the fact. It's like y'all want this Spartans to rule the world... When humans are not perfect. Can't be strong, have balls to the wall energy and drive forever. Many people fall all the time, the only difference with people like her us that she's on stage and on camera for the world to see. However, saying that, she is pretty resilient for a girl her age to pick herself up from this as anyone who overcomes personal struggle. Anyways, I'm glad she's doing better this year. I loved that guilty pleasure answer! Russian hookers and cheap gin... Sounds like such a guy. She's such a bad ass b---h, one of the reasons I love her. Looks like she's excited about going to space, it will interesting for me because the launching site for Virgin Galactic is very close to the town where I was born, Las Cruces, NM. It's like she's stepping into my territory to reach the heavens, literally. Very exciting and I really hope this sort of think captures this generation's imagination and garner's more support for space exploration, study, and eventual colonization as we expand into the final frontier. The 21st century should be the time humanity jumps at the potential to reach the stars. If scientists could figure out how to make fusion generators and if space craft engineers could find a way to prolong human survival in space, it could really set the stage for massive growth in that sector and industry. Wouldn't be nice if this generation could aspire to more than pettiness and apathy to see the day mankind could make new breakthroughs and accomplish more that could benefit as many as possible? Filippo2192 0
"You can't force people to have the same world consciousness and awareness as you do" is quite too much to say for a person who always wears fur but I'm glad she's fine, I just hope it's true since it's not the first time she says she was depressed but now she's fine. Now she just need to let the art speak for itself
