Gagaloo911 12,959
Cannot said it better. You know at first I think she's pitying herself too much but when I see the bigger picture of it, we dont exactly know what happens in the background. The last thing we, as fans, could do is judging her, because we simply don't know what happened. At least her attitude in this interview is more sober I think, and she's being really honest. Once again, please do not judge. We're just fans, okay maybe she's a little too sensitive but we cannot change that and we don't know what EXACTLY happened. We're here to be her fans not her manager.... Thank you! I very much agree. She may be sensitive, but what of it I say! It's who she is. That doesn't take away from the fact that she is human and has had to go through tough situations and experiences. She can only handle so much. That goes for everyone. Yes, some can go longer keeping things bottled in and not saying a word or showing how they feel, but eventually anyone will break and it will all come bursting out. These are the times gaga lashes out-- when she has had enough and can't bottle it up any longer. You feel good then. I know I do after I've let it out. So she must feel so good. we can't expect her to just bottle everything up forever. She's only human too, and eventually we all break down
rivingtonrebels 245
great interview - her answers felt more genuine than during the rest of this era. however. she said the exact same thing at the beginning of this era - that she overcame massive depression, pushed bad people out of her life, got rid of additions and disorders. it's all getting a little stale to me.... Whispering 18,865
Amazing interview! Just as I suspected, the split with Troy hurt her deeply. She's right, money changes people and in the end, you have to trust yourself. I'm glad she took some time and did whatever she needed to do to feel whole and happy again! I have many old souls around me all the time. :lmao: This truly made me laugh I love it so much. That last question about her gravestone made me emotional.
Whispering 18,865
All I've heard from her since 2012 is how unhappy she is and how people use her and victimize her and talk bad about her and this and that and the other. Girl maybe it's time for a career change because your peers are not complaining this much about being a popstar. Everyone else is too focused on you know promoting their product, making music videos etc instead of focusing on the negative. She really needs to get it together the public is done with the poor me attitude and that reflected in her album sales. I really do hope she finds true happiness and peace of mind. Not trying to sound cold hearted at all but I hope she's off the d--gs and booze because that makes people even more depressed. If that's ALL you've heard for 2 years, then that's ALL you've focused on. Why follow someone for two years when all you are hearing is negativity? It's not time for Gaga to change careers, it's time for you to find a new artist that meets your requirements and your idealized version of a model popstar. Following Gaga is your choice. Your dissatisfaction is more a reflection on you and your poor choices than anything Gaga is doing or not doing. You could always go spend the next two years focusing on those popstars who are doing what you want them to do!
freebit 6,132
Her interviews (with the exception of Watch What Happens Live) are so different from when she first started out, but I guess her life and perspective have changed, which was inevitable. I understand others annoyance, but at the same time I'm not bothered or surprised. Depression + a dramatic personality = this interview. She appears to want to be relatable to her fans, and if that's the case I hope she stops with the "I am you/you are me" business. It sounds like a tag line for a new age cult, lol. She's just going to confuse most with that stuff. I feel like she's been reading too much Deepak Chopra and this is the result. Anyway, I hope she's able to pull everything together and make it work. I can tell she's probably still not in a great place, but sometimes people's creativity thrive under those conditions. Hopefully something good will come from it all. Celina 118
Did Christina after Bionic, Madonna after MDNA or Britney right now cry in various interviews how hard everything is? And Gaga is doing this constantly. Yes, she always stops that talk for some periods, but it comes back again. Always. She's quite clearly not complaining about the album sales, so don't compare it to other artists' reactions to "unsuccessful" eras.
heavymlover 340
The fact that some of you think that Gaga should endure corporation abuse and control just because that's something normal in this industry
