Gaga is inspired by Bowie, Michael, Madonna, and others; she openly admits it. There's nothing wrong being inspired by the greats. I don't recall any famous performers having a photoshoot like that before Gaga, but the rest are all common and hardly Gaga-inspired. If you've ever looked through a magazine or at any fashion photography you would know Gaga wasn't the first to do any of those things, even in mainstream pop culture. Especially the see through dress... That's a huuuuge reach. Off the top of my head Rose McGowan wore one in the late nineties to an awards show which was pretty big deal. I don't find her interesting, besides these snippets in the news of her trying way too hard. I don't think that she can succeed because we already knew her for so long as both Miley and Hannah Montana. She's already got a spot in pop culture and this chapter is just a continuation instead of a birth. The future's uncertain and the end is always near.
