So according to google, winged eyeliner started to catch a lot of friction during 2011 and eventually lifted even higher. What happened in 2011 that made winged eyeliner so noticable? Well last time I recall in 2011.. I don't remember seeing any other influential females wearing this type of makeup in 2011? Did young girls see gaga with this look and sorta liked it but found it strange at the same time which eventually evolved into the modern day winged eyeliner now?
