I personally thought it was a joke. I thought the single cover was sooo beautiful in comparison... I could not understand Gaga's choice for what she called her "Thriller". After a while, I came around. I got the intention behind it, and finally found the cover absolutely fabulous and appropriate. Still my fave to this day.
