Sleepy 5 Posted January 31, 2014 Share Posted January 31, 2014 MJH is reallyyyy overproduced and loud, it's hard to hear anything in the chorus. Also MANiCURE vocals seem "soft" during the chorus. Clean at least can have a meaning in terms of the mix in that sounds are well separated and in distinct sonic spaces. Overproduced tho is a useless word. TropicOfCANCER 6,292 Posted January 31, 2014 Share Posted January 31, 2014 the production on ARTPOP is anything but clean. it's easily her messiest album production wise---with "standouts" like s-xxx dreams, MANiCURE, Venus, Swine, and Jewel's n' Drugs all having borderline terrible/unfinished production. the best productions all come from zedd (esp.
