:udidnt: Is Gaga really worth that much already?!

No, but her wealth is certainly up there at the $200 mill mark pre-ARTPOP from most estimates which for an artist with two LPs and one EP under her belt and two concert tours is pretty unbelievable. Gaga essentially has Britney money in 1/3 of the time.

The Fame

She still gets royalties and money from people playing songs from The Fame, as well. I think she'll be fine.

She wasn't bankrupt after the Monster Ball ended...she was bankrupt after the Monster Ball 1.0 THEATRE tour. Once the Monster Ball 2.0 arena tour was over and BTW started she made bank.

She  earns a lot of money, but she also spends a lot of ****ing money :toofunny:

So I wouldn't be surprised if she is in bankruptcy

no she made a lot of money off of the BTWB actually. Also even more from her fragrance.

I was gonna say. Fame sold a BUNCH. Also, wasn't BTWB one of the top 30 highest grossing tours of all time?

3 points in and ready for more

We all know she said after the Monster Ball Tour she was almost bankrupt, and I don't think she would have made much off the BTWB, so maybe her stress and depression is caused by not being able to put as much money into her next tour.

Why do people act like this tour was a failure? It made $181 million? Like every show but one soldout...

Yeah. Both of her major headlining tours have been some of the biggest tours of all time. People act like the BTWB flopped because they read articles written by Madonna fans. The tour was a massive sellout worldwide

She has successfully built a strong foundation (from her first three major releases along with her other endeavours) that no matter how her current material under-performs, she'd be way far from suffering such financial problem. Not having a smash hit at the moment doesn't translate that she's out of cash.

It's wasn't AFTER, it was when she was gearing up for it in 2009.

It was a cash flow problem, similar to any business woman needing money to expand.

She was atop Forbes richest and most powerful and was the only other female singer in the top 20 (beyonce was the other one who ranked after Gaga) but Gaga was I believe 5th or 6th and she didn't even have an album out that fiscal year.... this women could flush and money would fill back into her toilet.

edit: And Im happy putting it there lol

Actually to further your point.

Fame Ball Tour is the 3rd highest grossing DEBUT tour of all time.

And both The Monster Ball Tour and the BTWBall Tour are in the Top 30 Highest grossing tours of all time.

And based on ArtRave sales so far....I'm gonna bet this tour is going to crack into that Top 30 as well.

According to the stats I've looked up Gaga's tours have made over $500 million with just 2.5 albums behind them.

Now thats the type of slayage you don't see every day.

If Gaga continues to tour that well, she will actually be the first artist of all time to make over $1BILLION dollars touring in her first career decade. Not even Michael Jackson or Madonna did that. :)
