This tbh. I hate that idea. Oh we love you but we'd adore you if you have another number 1 hit. What happened to loving someone for who they are? You know one of the things you'd look like for a partner....that they accept you for you but all of the sudden when it comes to Gaga it becomes about charts? How wrong is that. That would be the same like saying "hey honey I love you but I will love you more when you loose 20 pounds" or me telling my daughter "I love you but I do want you to have the best grades in your class so I can love you more." That's got nothing to do with love imo. That's often projection. If you want to stan for someone at their peak this would be a good moment to switch to Katy Perry atm. She'll stick to doing what she thinks is right and making good music... What more could you do? She's made it very clear that having hits isn't what she writes for.
