Smile 3
Cruel Summer song details “The film has 7 original songs, including 'Mercy' and 'Cold'. One of the songs samples Coldplay’s 'Paradise'. This song features Kanye, Big Sean, and Mr. Hudson. The beat starts off as a mellow mid-tempo song for the first 2 minutes but then evolves into a bass-shattering dubstep-ish banger. Another song which might be called 'Studio Ibiza' features Cudi on the hook and Kanye, Pusha T, and Common. This song has a euro-beat that seems to be popular on the radio lately. The final song in the film features a slow piano beat with frank ocean on the hook. The hook goes something like “Everywhere we go/ the simple life we know/ Serenity/ Serenity/ Simple life Efficiency." miju 375
I love the artwork. It's kinda like a huge contrast. The songs are heavy and explicit while the covers all elegant. It's also meant to be the angel on the good logo grown up. Will look nice next to Watch The Throne in itunes. doseofamnesia. tumblr. com

Lion Heart 15,041
Kanye West Gets "Stronger" Lawsuit Dismissed Thanks to Friedrich Nietzsche and Kelly Clarkson In 2010, Kanye West was sued by musician Vincent Peters over a copyright dispute regarding similarities between West's Graduation single "Stronger" and a song that Peters had sent John Monopoly, a business associate of West, back in 2006. Last year, a federal judge dismissed the claims, so Peters filed an appeal. As part of their fight against the appeal, Kanye's legal counsel referenced the works of philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, whose maxim "that which does not kill us makes us stronger" is referenced in the song. Now, The Hollywood Reporter reports that the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled in West's favor, and ordered the lawsuit dismissed. The Hollywood Reporter quotes the ruling as saying, "Although the fact that both songs quote from a 19th century German philosopher might, at first blush, seem to be an unusual coincidence, West correctly notes that the aphorism has been repeatedly invoked in song lyrics over the past century." The presiding judge, Diane Wood, also cited similarities to Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" to further support her decision. Read the ruling in its entirety here. ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀
