Hexxx 2,244
He didn't even shade Gaga tho...... I don't know why he's so mad at me. it's kinda funny tbh. i read all his posts about me. Every artist is influenced by someone. I think you're unfairly pigeon-holing her as an unoriginal artist. You're kind of subconsciously discrediting Gaga, no disrespect to you of course. Madonna was heavily influenced by other people, so much so that she's had numerous plagiarism lawsuits against her that she lost. I think when people b---h about Gaga copying other people they're just looking for reasons to hate on her and they most likely will always find an excuse to hate on her. I don't think Gaga needs to leave inspirations alone, she just has to be strong in her conviction of what she releases. sorry, i shouldn't have put it like that. i just really want Gaga to win this one, ya know. 2011 wasn't her best year and she seems determined that ARTPOP will change everything. and i think we will get our album of the decade this time Lady Gaga/ Madonna/Lana /Azealia Banks/ Jazmine Sullivan/ DEEE-LITE/ Moko

I have no idea what to expect from this era. I'm not worried about comparisons though because when it comes to Gaga there will always be comparisons since the haters really reach for them, you kind of can't take them seriously as obnoxiously loud as they can be. As long as the sound isn't reminiscent of what I consider generic (Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj, even Adele at times) then im good. I wouldn't be surprised if this album blends more with whats on the radio currently though because im sure she'll add that Gaga edge to it. Buuut, im sure some fans will be disappointed. Literally Gaga fans seem to be the most hard to please! lol Ever since the Born This Way era under-whelmed I think people will just be searching for flaws lol Edited August 26, 2012 by leviticus
AnglerfishbraBENUS 5,734
Ever since she dyed her hair brunette I just feel like crazy gaga died. Which is a good thing in a way. For some reason I feel like she is a completely new person and its like she's starting over. Like you look back at her blonde weave with like black eyebrows and it makes you wonder why she even bothered. lol. Just some thoughts. I know she was blonde because of AMY, but still.. Her look now is just soo much more flattering.

Sylvanas 5,768
So I'm guessing that her tweet about 808s is her working on a song with DJWS for ARTPOP? :excited2: "Who are we, if not slaves to this torment?"
Fen 0
Ergg the fact that she's still working on this album strengthens my fear we won't get it till like Q3 next year.

It's a way to express their frustration. It's kind of a shame considering how hard she works, but sometimes people express their love that way. It's an interim emotion until Gaga destroys the competition. Or, flames out. We'll see what happens. The key is not that the era was flawed -- opinions will vary -- but that fans are frustrated with the lukewarm reception by the general public.
