Nick 29
i wonder if there will be any love songs. Of course there will be love songs. Give me one mainstream pop album in the past decade with zero love songs. Gaga always puts a "non generic" twist on her love songs though. (Ref: Two lesbian lovers fleeing from the government and trying to marry = Americano. :))
Kermit the frog 1,895
I have a weird feeling that this album is gonna be filled with basic electronic music/techno but the fans are gonna love it and praise her anyway - if Kesha/Katy did that, they would call them generic. ryhanna 3,507
Alejandro (April 2010) - Born This Way (February 2011) 10 months Marry the Night (November 2011) - present (August 2012) 9 months Almost :P it's strange, the period between Alejandro-Born This Way felt really, REALLY long and we've been waiting almost as long this time and it just does not feel nearly that long. Am I the only person who feels this way?

Guest
OMG!! Do you remember monstervision No. 5 - "Dressage"? She said :"I think it is important to challenge myself with ARTPOP. I think that I have to start breaking the rules that I've made about fame". I think that these rules are that when an artist starts getting immature, he starts losing fame, he's slowly becoming a "decay". Gaga's also becoming immature and wreckless, but what she wants to do, is that she wants to maintain the fame, while doing crazy things that decaying superstars do. She's going against the law of fame.

killerk 0
Guys, seriously, Mary Jane is obviously the cannabis song, and most likely that song's title. Say it out loud. Think about it. Now say it out loud in a spanish accent. With that metaphor though, the song practically writes itself, so i'm sure it'll be a goodun. Just your bog standard gaga love song affair which is actually about weed.
MelbHawker 6,583
What I've taken out of her latest tweets - - The album will be different to her past ones - musically, lyrically, conceptually and theatrically. It seems she wants to create an album that's going to be the exact opposite of what we've come to expect of her. She will always this about her next album to create interest but ever since she confirmed the albums called 'ARTPOP' I think this album really is going to be different. The name isn't straightforward - it could be anything, like she says. - One of the tweets implied that this album is going to be very metaphorical - 'free thinking state'. I think the lyrics are in many ways not going to make sense to us and the general public. 'The possibilities of Pop' - she doesn't want to do Pop like people expect, or in the traditional ways she and others have done it in the past. Exciting! - The whole tweet about a 'major song on the album' that we know the name of. Well.. the only song I can think of that we definitely know the name of that's recent is 'Princess Die'. It's become such a hit within the fan base she'd be silly not to put it on the album. But it would be a mistake to even consider releasing it as a single. I want to hear the vocals. And want more info. Hurry up GaGa.

Brandon 457
I hope every song on the album is good. I mean 4/5 single material (catchy etc. like NOBTR) and the others has to be amazing songs but who are not single worthy like Princess Die (no fillers).
