I can see her announcing that she's performing her new single at the VMA's (assuming she actually is), and withholding the title/date. But SHE'S not hyping. The Haus are. Besides the mega-fans, nobody knows about DJWS, Richy, Tara and so on. Which is why I think she really has no intention of hyping throughout the whole ARTPOP era. She'll release singles and let them slowly build hype, like they used to do in the old days. That seems to be the way artists are going these days: Jay Z, Kanye, Timberlake, even David Bowie.
