Didymus 34,379
I agree that The Monster Ball suits perfectly and It's the perfect extension of the album, but The Born This Way Ball as a show slays every single tour on Earth You people.. It's just embarassing, truly.

Didymus 34,379
Who is Pink Floyd tho? Honestly, do you really think they're good or it's just the publicity and promotion they carry on their back what makes you think they're a legend? Honey, if you don't even know Pink Floyd (one of Gaga's inspirations tbh) I'm done talkin'.
Guille 1,154
maybe to some of you, but if TFM era was received the way the btw era was, no one would be up its ass, regardless of whether the music was still up to par. THE FAME MONSTER was underexploited while BORN THIS WAY was overexploited. I LOVE BOTH ALBUMS, I'm just saying what I think. Honey, if you don't even know Pink Floyd (one of Gaga's inspirations tbh) I'm done talkin'. I WAS BEING SARCASTIC FFS
Saint Laurent 4,862
This: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angels_of_Darkness,_Demons_of_Light_II They've obviously made it otherwise they wouldn't be releasing music and they wouldn't be signed.
aaronyoji 2,054
She has evolved, but her songs still aren't groundbreaking songs. I'm comparing her to the legends that inspire her: Springsteen, Pink Floyd, Michael Jackson, Megadeth,... She's not making thóse songs. It's not deprecating, it's just honest. Why would you try to compare Gaga with Pink Floyd and make Gaga look good well, obviously she has yet to reach her thriller, or spiders from mars obviously, but i would't say her songs aren't groundbreaking. you're letting the perspective of the gp affect your opinion of her work just like all the other people we're arguing with. but on the flip side of things; because she isn't perceived as bowie or micheal then that means her music isn't as monumental, but to me it is. Didymus 34,379
I WAS BEING SARCASTIC FFS How can you be sarcastic about Pink Floyd and their status as legendary? I'm just tired of all the "best tour on earth" "best album ever" etc. What ever went wrong with posting: "I think" before you make a delusional comment like that They've obviously made it otherwise they wouldn't be releasing music and they wouldn't be signed. You officially make no sense.

I WAS BEING SARCASTIC FFS so, tfm was underexposed, (which is what i think you meant), but yet everyone praises tfm era as being the peak of her popularity and career, and everything else apparently? those notions contradict each other. Yep, so imagine if It had been fully exploited Many friends of mine loved MONSTER & SHICD after I showed them to them while they use to dislike most of BTW songs. even without the "i think", it seems pretty obvious that we're all giving subjective opinions or exaggerating here i don't think the conversations are as serious as you're making out Finally  so, tfm was underexposed, (which is what i think you meant), but yet everyone praises tfm era as being the peak of her popularity and career, and everything else apparently? those notions contradict each other. its called hyperbole. :trootea: Edited April 11, 2013 by Guille
Saint Laurent 4,862
Pink Floyd is not a legend to me though because I don't like that type of music. MY legends are Britney, Madonna and Cher. TFM is better than all of their albums apart from maybe Blackout so.
