I still believe however that she has always had a plan for her albums ... To a--lyse it completrly basically breaks down to

'The Fame' makes her famous so she is able to release her masterpiece 'The Fame Monster'

'Born This Way' builds a massive fanbase so she is able to have promoters amongst the GP for 'ARTPOP'

I feel like she's releasing obligatory albums to help her with the one that follows? She's never kept it a secret that she was after fame with 'the fame' and that 'born this way' embodies the personal stories of her fanbase - and maybe tgis links to why she called ARTPOP The Fame Monster's little sister? Cause these are the albums that are personal to her & it's the music she wants to write & release.

Not saying TF & BTW are sell-out albums that DON'T have personal (to gaga) songs but I do think these alternate works are more methodically planned out for likeability - SHES SMART.

I wonder if Gaga will change the theme of ARTPOP, I mean she might go darker after those bad experiences she had recently (like cancelling the tour, hip injury, death of her granpa).

I won't buy the album anymore. I'm done with it. She started to talk about it in jan 2012. We're april 2013... She'd better tweet once: "New song in 2 days". 

and having "the sound of 2013"? in 2015 i think and then others will say it's reductive...

 

Hi everyone! I work for Interscope Records as one of the people who help with deciding release dates, making travel arrangements etc. I have worked there since 2007 and enjoy my job very much which is why I won't give current release dates and/ or titles Gaga hasn't revealed, so don't ask for it! I will say though that the tracklist is final and they are finishing up the songs right now, then Gaga will have down-time now until early next month, then they will film the music video for the lead single, and while she is doing that she will finish the app and the extra songs to be added to the app which is about 20 or so! She will add a song or two each month. Ask me any questions and I will see if I can answer them!

I definitely think that it's possible that there will be an M.I.A. collaboration on the album. And I'm very excited about it. I adore M.I.A., the woman is a genius and her and Gaga making music together would be magic.

Why is it so hard to believe?

 

Gaga tweeted saying that there was a secret female collaborator on ARTPOP. Then just a few days later, M.I.A. tweeted Gaga and she capitalized the words TEA and CAKE. Then they both hung out together in London and visited Julian Assange at the Ecuador Embassy. Then it was announced that M.I.A. is working with some of the same producers as ARTPOP on her upcoming album. Then on the night of the VMA's Gaga said that it would be a travesty if M.I.A. didn't win Video of the Year.

 

It seems very likely imo. And plus, Gaga is writing songs about the injustice in Indonesia for ARTPOP, on songs like 'Burqa' and the other one that she has written, and M.I.A. deals with very similar themes in her music.
