Pop 4,541 Posted April 4, 2013 Share Posted April 4, 2013 Not to put anyone's expectations down, but take a look: Zedd is busy touring the world till May 10, which prevents him from studio sessions with Gaga Richard Jackson (Gaga choreographer) is also touring till May, 4. So I wouldn't expect any announcements (of the announcement ) till mid-May. P.S. It should be noted that both Jackson and Zedd go on touring in June: Zedd leaves on June,15 and Jackson on June,1. So I think that ARTPOP is planned to be done by mid-June. The promo will follow then, and the most realistic is that the record will be out in August/September, right around VMA's The most realistic post on GGD in a while. It's clear as a day that the single will drop late August/early September, just in time for the big VMA's comeback performance. The album will follow in late October/early November. The only possibility of getting a single sooner than that is if she decided to release two singles before the record and let one do the impact during the summer without much promo and then go into full promotion mode comes September. I wonder what personality she's going to take on for this upcoming era? The post BTW era/perfume promo era was a little obnoxious for me. I hope she goes back to her early BTW style interview persona - laughing, happy, friendly. Also, I don't think any of us are close to the theme of ARTPOP - Gaga usually takes a very metaphorical take on her album and single era themes. It's never quite exactly what you would expect. It would be weird tho to see that ARTPOP was one of the most anticipated albums of 2013 and we're heading to mid-year and still no release date is fixed yet. She could just change the title everytime that she releases a new album, and re-invent the show, but it would still be The Monster Ball. So The Born This Way Ball could have been "The Monster Ball: Born This Way" and The ARTPOP Ball could have been "The Monster Ball: ARTPOP".
