"Nowhere, yeah we're going nowhere fast." -- Summerboy, Lady Gaga

:tea: this whole thing is sad. Gaga needs to realize that she did not let her fans down. We want her to tweet us. She says she's not emotionally capable of tweeting us. I just want Gaga back. ARTPOP is in eternal limbo. Hopefully we will get news soon

Oh my god, it hasn't even been 2 years since Born This Way was released and in between that time we've gotten leaks of old songs, as well as new songs like Princess Die and just for fun songs like Cake and Stache. Don't get me wrong, I want ARTPOP more than anything and I'm dying to hear the new music but y'all need to stop acting like this album is some sort of problematic wait that is going on forever. 2 years isn't long between albums, especially when she has worked every single day in between until the point of injury.

Try being Lauryn Hill fans.

"Try being Lauryn Hill fans" is ignorant. It's the same as when people say "Don't be sad that you're being kicked out of school, some people are starving in Africa." If we aren't Lauryn Hill fans, and most of us aren't since I don't even know who that is, we can't relate to your pain.

Ummmmm :flop:

I was simply stating that it's been less than 2 years since Gaga's last albums and some people are acting like it's been an eternity.

Lauryn's last album was released 16 years ago and she's always promising fans new material and it never arrives. You've never heard of her? Oh my god, give her a listen she is amazing. Her debut album (and only one to date) sold 30 million copies and won 5 Grammy's.

You have to also remember that most Gaga fans were 12-16 when Just Dance came out. We don't know how the music industry used to work or how often people should release CDs. What I do know is it is uncommon nowadays for an artist to go as long as three years between albums. Most artists I remember listening to in the past six years have released two albums within that time. I know three years is not the same as two years, but we are getting close to the two year mark, at which point Gaga has less than 12 months to release the album in the same time span as most artists of the past six years.

The most common wait in between albums is 2 or 3 years.

Rihanna is the only artist who releases every year. I was also 12-16 when Just Dance came out. The way of releasing music has changed a great deal over the last few years, but the time span in between albums hasn't really changed.
