I agree. I want awesome fresh dance, with 90s house influences. :legend:

Ray of Light

I want Stache-esque songs. But pls Gaga, don't make the vocals that boring and bland :wtf:

I wouldn't mind songs with a Stache/heavily pulsating electronic influence on it. The melodies in Stache are pretty awesome.

But imo the lyrics can make or break the musicality for me. Hoping for some smart and clever lyrics, even another subtle Sarte reference would be good lol

It's good, but man is it a bit... empty. That may be the intention, but ehh.

Bloody hooker

I would like some songs like Alejandro, GH, Scheiße, HML, and Stache on the album.

This mutual gaze was a “longing to touch” or a "pre-coitus" stare.

I want ARTPOP to have a very fresh sound, but these are songs I think she should steer towards if it sounds like old material

The Fame:

LoveGame

Paparazzi

Boys Boys Boys

The Fame Monster:
Bad Romance

Alejandro

Monster

Dance In The Dark

Born This Way:

Marry The Night

Government Hooker

Judas

Scheiße

Bloody Mary

Heavy Metal Lover

and I love Princess High/Stache and Ratchet, however they need to be more mainstream. Gaga's biggest hits aren't her most mainstream songs, like Just Dance or Telephone, but Marry The Night (her least "mainstream song") has taken a toll on her career.

What if

"I'd rather be poor and happy, than rich and alone." - ----- -- ---- - #ARTPOP

Was simpler than we thought.

maybe it's just

Happy N' Poor

Alone N' Rich

Happy N' Rich

Alone N' Poor

I wonder if she will wait until September to release it and then she can have VMA promo.

I think that would be a good idea. I mean I think we'll get the album in August? I mean the injury really does make it all more complicated.

I agree! It's a whole lot of fun, but it's not as high in energy as I'd like. But not every song can be Judas lol

It's funny how we all want inspiration from Gaga's previous songs on ARTPOP but in fact, when you look at her previous albums, they are 3 totally different piece of art, distinct one from an other. There are absolutely NO inspiration from an album to another.

Dat - doo - deet - doe. Dat - doo - deet - doe, dat - doo - deet - doe. Baby let's get high, John Wayne

Just a bit, yes. If we're talking musically, all have a distinctive electro-pop sound (though that's a given). TF's lighter, more Europop sound led into TFM's darker Europop/glam-rock (kinda?) sound, which led into BTW's heavy, electro-rock/dance sound. Kinda.

But yes, different enough to be very, very distinctive. I'm sure ARTPOP is (hopefully) no exception.
