Gerrard174 695
Here for Zedd to be the main producer of ARTPOP, since I've been quite keen for ARTPOP to be an all-out EDM album. I would love an EDM album of course, but i think it will be somewhere between EDM and pop. Maybe more dancey than BTW with more breakdowns ... EDIT: The only thing i want to avoid is throwback to 80's sounds again. Fernando's production is way too 80's. I would love one or two songs like TEOG but not MTN/BTW again for ARTPOP. (as much as i love them, it is time to change) i want some modern sounds for ARTPOP, since it gives such futuristic vibe. Gerrard174 695
I'm most excited to hear Zedd and Red One on ARTPOP + Madeon as well. Madeon is so talented at his age. I hope he can get his breakout with Gaga's songs
Axl Jax 596
I hope the lead single is produced by Madeon tbh. If it sounds anything like The City it will slay :legend:
7Days 7
Pop, dance-pop, electronica, ambient, dream pop, house, techno, rave, rock, dub. The genres I want for ARTPOP :legend:
chiuga 1,970
Tbh I find zedd's production extremely hollow and don't actually match with the melody of the songs, clarity and his remixes of gaga's tracks included. I'm kinda worry about the album if he's the main producer... But after stache, I have confidence that it will work out pretty well.
hoseUdown 0
WAIT WHAT? meaningless and noisy? How instrumentals to have meaning? IF anything, Fernando's production is super noisy. Zedd makes EDM, which is suppose to be more intense and noisier than pop. When he produces SONGS with gaga, it will be different case because there will be VOCALS, not instrumentals only, like most of his album, and Clarity is perfect in any sense. It is pure ecstasy. Good production and nice vocals. Stache is a good example of combining his production with Gaga's vocal, which turn out to be quite nice, and it is just a song for fun. Imagine the real deal. Well, that's an opinion too. Clarity is not an instrumental album and if we're talking about it as an album is should has meaning but it doesn't really have any sense. Whatever, some like it but I personally find it awful. On the other hand, why people think that modern music have to be more and more intense, powerful and louder? I know Gaga is about dance and fun music, but she should try different genres too. It feels like she's unable to create something simply beautiful in music, without fast intense beats. I mean I'm here for that too cause usually she does it well. But also I would like to hear nice downtempo emotional/melancholic masterpieces. (which can be electronic) I'd love if she brought some alternative stuff into her music. Edited January 23, 2013 by hoseUdown
Gerrard174 695
^it would work well since they will be producing real pop songs now. the focus is on gaga, and not on the EDM, if u get what i mean. the production wont overshadow gaga's voice and melody. i believe they will create something amazing together - like gaga and redone
Gerrard174 695
modern music can be slow and soft, i was refering to EDM. I believe gaga will stick to her root, ie electronic dance pop, but of course she will have diversified songs on the album, something like TEOG, YAI, speechless, electric chapel would be nice. Maybe a jazz song will do XD
Fen 0
  I'm pretty done with it too....even a little sick of it whole love yourself crap, don't get me wrong I love that Gaga is spreading the message of love and acceptance but I've been hearing this since 2010 and I get it Gaagz I love myself don't worry about it ...now move on with it and give us ARTPOP I think this will sadly always be imbued in her career. I think we all will have to get used to that.
Sexxx 5,630
I really don't want the EDM side of the production to take over and shadow Pop.
Disco Heaven 46
I hope the lead single is produced by Madeon tbh. If it sounds anything like The City it will slay LIVING for that. The City is an AMAZING record. Madeon's melodies and production give me such a good vibe. I really like Zedd's work, but I think Madeon is the future. :legend:
Raikov 183
I liked Stache and its production, so I'm not worried about Zedd. I saw a mash-up of Judas and Shuriken (one of Madeon's pieces) and I quite enjoyed it, so I have high hopes for him as well. As for the other producers, did anyone remember that Gaga mentioned a female producer? Or am I just making that up? She's said so many things that I can't keep track of them anymore... someone suggested that Gaga herself could be the producer, which I think would be kind of cool. I'm a fan of RedOne; he's done some pretty great stuff with Gaga. We'll see how it goes again.
