I could be wrong, but I found out about Bad Romance back in 2009 by hearing the demo on youtube (which I absolutely adore still to this day) and I was shocked that I didn't hear about a single or an album release prior to hearing the Bad Romance demo on youtube. After I heard it, I did some research online and found out that The Fame Monster was coming out. I feel as if Bad Romance came out of nowhere. Maybe the same thing will happen with this new single too. I feel that overhyping the single/album might not be a great idea. Remember when Born This Way was overhyped? I remember a lot of people who were very let down with the lead single Born This Way and said it was way overhyped and was definitely not worth the wait (I'm talking about the song not the album). Hopefully the promo for this new single will be a little less overhyped so that Gaga won't get bashed hardcode like she did with BTW if people happen to not like the song.

12 grade for me :staymad:

Me too!! :excited:

Dunno why everyone wants a short album.... I'd like this album to have 14/15 songs.

And I'm pretty sure Zedd is producing the first single. :woot:

Most people (like me) said that on first listen, yes

I hope the next single doesn't have that same factor :noparty:

I learned to love it and it's now one my favorite songs of all time but some of the general public after hearing it once just that it was bad and never bothered listening to it again :(

It's definitely not one of my favorite Gaga songs. I definitely don't love it, but I don't hate it. I imagine Gaga's new single might be released sometime near the fall. If that's the case, I would love a mid-tempo single...something that kind of has the feel of Alejandro. I could be totally off though! The single could perhaps come a lot sooner like a lot of people in here have anticipated!

God, we're on Part 5 already?!

I bet we'll get the album when we reach Part 500.

4 is a good number for an average album, but it depends on the material.

For example, The Fame could have had singles success with Just Dance, Poker face, Love Game, Paparazzi, Starstruck & I like it rough. They would have all gone top 10, easily. Throw in a double release of Eh Eh/BDR and you have epico. TFM could have had BR, Alejandro, Telephone, DITD & SHICD as singles to go top 10 if handled correctly.

But the one time they've done more than 4 singles it was a catastrophe. Yes the blame sits with TEOG for the trip, but still... We have songs like scheiße & HML unreleased :/ they could have salvaged, possibly.

So, the answer is obvious to me. Try once more for 5 singles but don't risk promo singles and plan releases thoroughly.

I think the song is better than everything on TF and most of TFM but that's just my opinion :)

And I'm sure it'll come soon. I'm 90% it'll be here by October :flutter:

Also, another thing I was thinking about is that the Born This Way Ball won't be starting in America until 2013. If she released a new album I really feel it's going to be something short like TFM. I think it'll be something that goes hand in hand with the rest of the Born This Way album. It would be kind of weird of Gaga to release brand new material and still be on the Born This Way Ball. I know Rihanna released her Talk That Talk album while being on her LOUD Tour, but I think her tour was just about to end at that time anyway.

Whatever happens I hope the music is really epic and catchy this time around.

It will always be a mistake not to release DITD after Alejandro.

It should have been

Just Dance

Poker Face

Love Game

Starstrukk

Paparazzi

Bad Romance

Telephone

Alejandro

DITD

SHICD would flop on radio. I touch myself all through the night is not a radio friendly lyric
