So back on topic, I don't believe there's any chance of ARTPOP flopping tbh.

"Soon" and "Possibilities" need to be song titles on ARTPOP tbh

Just gotta push those first 2 singles to #1 for 5+ consecutive weeks.

Hell, break Carly's record for longest #1 for Interscope.

WE CAN DO IT

Imagine if he/she's an insider posting that everytime we get close to the truth about ARTPOP?  :Chica:

52 days to ARTPOP!

Last time he posted that was when I expressed my thoughts about the fans/public controlling her image a few pages back.
And now right after that:

How amazing it'd be if, instead of the nipples, the face was censored. Goes together with the theory about Burqa about 30 pages back!

And I truly adore that idea. Possibilites. My ARTPOP could mean anything. Burqa. That poster on her dressing room where the model covers her face with her hand...
It really all points towards Gaga censoring her face.
For BTW, Gaga showed us the artwork look long before it was revealed, in her interview with Anderson Cooper (same wig, same makeup). I'm absolutely positive Gaga has already planted hints about the visuals of the next era. Anyway, I'm sure the artwork will be shocking and extremely exciting and unexpected.

I remember listening to that snippet that Gaga played in her car, and it didn't sound like EDM that much. Judging from the bass line, it sounded purely pop. I don't know if that was just a demo or not, but it has me confused about the sound of ARTPOP.

I'm not sure if it's going to be more on the pop side with EDM incorporated, or vice versa. All the descriptions of the album point to an album full of hard, dancy beats, and the snippet from the car sounded nothing like that. Maybe that particular song blossoms into something far more complex, but ARTPOP just has me confuuuuuuuuuuused and I hate it :crossed:

I really don't see the songs having regular hard beats though. More like a "classical music" approach to electronic music. A symphony of digital sounds.

I think dance music relies way too much on beats to create their songs, that's why it all sounds so similar and nothing stands out, because it all relies on the same structure. Dancy beats and regularity.

I would really like to see what happens to dance&electro music when you take out that thumping noise in the background, it would surely become lighter, more free and aerial. (And without a doubt harder to make)

I wouldn't say close the thread, but it's normal that people talk about the born this way era.. I mean, we're kinda still in it since ARTPOP didn't start yet :awkney:

I know it's off topic, but there's nothing on topic to discuss other than fantasies :laughga:
