TimisaMonster 31,073 Posted May 7, 2013 Share Posted May 7, 2013 (edited) Is it just me thinking that Burqa could be having some oriental/indian elements, like Madonna's Push for example The way it sounds in this song...it's pretty bad...., but I have a good feeling Burqa will have a crazy catchiness to it cuz both Gaga, Joe, and Terry can't seem to get it out of their heads! Gaga tweeted Zedd she was listening to it all day, then in Monstervision Terry is heard singing it and Gaga asks him "Are you singing Burqa?" and recently Joe said it was his favorite song from the album.....that tells me she and Zedd made magic when it came to Burqa! Edit: To me Modonna's other song Isaac on the same album has more of a better oriental/indian vibe for me! I think it was the Skype thing when she said after the tour she wanted some time to finish the album and to do it in a way similar to how she did things in New York pre-Fame. She wasn't famous then and maybe that's what she is trying to return to during this creative process. Creating an album without the attention of the media. Living her life as if she has yet to reach Fame and is working towards it. Just a thought, but it makes sense to me. We're all Stronger Together! I think that was one of the errors of BTW, there were too many tracks released ages before the album itself. (BTW single in February and then BTW Album in May? excuse me no, that was awful timing) I think the first single and album should be a bit closer together, and then a second single should come after the album. Or if there's going to be a couple of months in between first single and album, let the second single be released along side the album or something. AUGUST - 1st single (VMAs perf.,Ellen, The Voice,late night shows etc) Early NOVEMBER - 2nd single Late NOVEMBER - ARTPOP 1st single sales in 2013 : 4.2M USA, 8M WW. 2nd single sales in 2013 : 3.1 USA, 6M WW. Even after a year, no human would be able to do what she does on tour. There's no way. Not after this type of surgery. Yes she will be able to walk and probably exercise but she won't be able to do her usual show after only 6 months. Naturally, but I think she can compensate that with vocals + props.
