Pure Adrenaline 1,518 Posted April 23, 2013 Share Posted April 23, 2013 (edited) ok admittedly i did forget that but i still think she has a super bad attitude and i don't really like the idea of gaga working with her. she just really doesn't fit in with the message gaga's been trying to spread over the years so the idea is weird to me. Well, trough these years she spread a lot of massages with every on of her albums and songs, but if we could combine all these themes in one would be most likely "I DON'T GIVE a FUC ABOUT WHAT YOU SAID" she's the artist she choose her way of expressing the music she never cared about people telling her what to do or what not even her fans and collaborating with Azelia is just another proof that she stick true to herself. Like she said ... her work is organic and when she works with other artists she doesn't care about the media, her label or the general public she just made music that she enjoys and she wants. Even when she made BTW she said that this album is for her fans but in one interview she said that at the time she was writing BTW she was very depressed and insecure so she made that record to cope trough. About the Azelia collab all I could say is that I'm looking forward I find Azelia more interesting than "rappers" like Nicki she is fresh and I really think that what she did with Gaga isn't something that you could find in any past work of her. About the Azelia collab all I could say is that I'm looking forward I find Azelia more interesting than "rappers" like Nicki she is fresh and I really think that what she did with Gaga isn't something that you could find in any past work of her. i do see your point but i think her main encouragement is to brush off those who say hateful things towards you and IN TURN avoid saying hurtful things to others. the main example is the letter that she wrote to kelly osbourne during all of that drama where she explicitly said that she doesn't condone the nasty things that were said on kelly's tv show. overall she's just trying to show her fans the benefits of compassion, love etc etc towards others and that has also been reflected in (some of) her music. and lol i DEFINITELY don't want gaga to do a collab with nicki or anyone like that and i do think azealia is talented. i know that a lot of people can separate the artist's personality from the music (like with azealia) and that's fine, but i'd honestly just see it as a strange move to make. i can see i'm outnumbered about azealia though so i'll just go about my business Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

She's a pop star. I agree that she's more serious and more artsy then all the other pop stars, but at the end of the day, pop is pop. She can collaborate with anyone she chooses. Who gives a fück if the person she chooses doesn't live up to her message in their personal life. Music is an entirely separate thing from someone's day to day life. Obviously for Gaga, they go hand in hand. But that's only Gaga. No other artist that I know of does that. So if you don't think she should collaborate with "artists who don't live up to her message" then Gaga will never collaborate with anyone. Which also won't happen. Every song in that album should be already finished and Gaga should just be recording vocals and adding finishing touches. She's been MIXING this crap for almost 2 years already! I'm totally here for gaga working with her not only because I like her as an artist, but also because I can see she's willing to change her attitude when she see's it's wrong.
