Most of people are really looking foward to see gaga on charts, back to business, taking back her throne on radios. But they absolutely hate any kind of commercial producers (even through zedd isn't one of them) I mean... no one wants ARTPOP to be one of bjork's album, right? let her be a popstar he did a song with justin bieber. he's trying to be one. But they absolutely hate any kind of commercial producers (even through zedd isn't one of them) I mean... no one wants ARTPOP to be one of bjork's album, right? let her be a popstar i wont mind if she did. i have no problem with her being a commercial pop singer, because that's what she is. i only question her when she and her people describe this album as futuristic, innovating, and the new sound of pop when she's not working with producers that match that. which is why i'm curious how much involvement she's gonna have this time. will she be full's on doing beat making and production? are their some more people working on it that we don't know about? is she gonna challenge them do upgrade their sound into something better? i haven't heard it so idk what to expect. i'm just stating on what i know so far. if it does winding up sounding like the newer crazes in k-pop and trap like what psy and baaur and the typical edm artists like calvin harris is already doing i'll be really pissed that it was hyped up to be something better. i bought into the hype with born this way and looking back after it cooled down that it didn't match the hype she and her team was giving it. i'm hoping for something fresh, different then what's currently popular, and something ahead of it's time and could set trends from this release. She got really bad press with born this way (my favorite era tbh) well britney's song freakshow on blackout was the more innovating dubstep moment in pop. then rihanna started doing it, then skrillex got popular all the way till country-pop and alternative rock bands like taylor swift and muse dabbled into it. that's the "future of pop" moment i'm expecting. a sound that hasn't been used in pop music yet that is capable of blowing up. i mean, you gotta admit that's a vague term to make. and she has to match up to that kinda hype. of course i'm expecting commercial pop songs but that doesn't mean it has to sound like other commercial pop songs atm. the way you phrased it was she can't experiment too far because she wants it to chart and go number one, but she can still bring something to the table and make it accessible. I agree with you, however, I think Zedd said that when he's with Gaga she doesn't limit him and she lets him go crazy. So by that, he could be saying that while other pop stars might want him not go too far, with Gaga he can go as far as he wants and go all out. I just want the music to be fun, dancy, and have a sublime message to it so its not just drunk in the club lyrics. Well I am sure if the music is as fun as she says, the music videos will be full of dance and pop slayage I really hope the music is really fun, dancey, and somewhat trippy. I miss Gaga on the radios and I miss Gaga in general.
