Gaga said they were for something soon. Obv nothing happened... could they be for ARTPOP? Maybe she thought at the time ARTPOP would be her third album. The movie was originally to be released in theaters until HBO came to gaga with the thought of a special. Gaga went through with that idea instead of the 3D movie.
