It postpones everything only if you're a singles type pop star who can't hussel. knowing that gaga can have a highly acclaimed tour based on an album that was released a year earlier is a talent and attribute pointing to longevity. she isnt a basic who needs an album out every year to do well. she doesn't tour to promote an album like she used to need to, she tours to see her fans and expand an album era. that's how you maintain a legacy. it doesn't "postpone everything" because you can't assume when an album will come out, or when the right time for an album to come out is. I'm just nervous that the music won't live up to our expectations and all the waiting would pretty much be worthless. I've accepted that the album is coming later rather than sooner and I think it's because she knows she needs a BR/PF caliber hit and she simply doesn't have it yet. BTW was a fine album but it didn't meet people's expectations because it didn't have a viral, pop-gold, force-of-nature single that was played at every college party and every nightclub around the world.
