The only reason people say that here is out of defensiveness for people thinking Born This Way wasn't as good. I mean as much as I think Born This Way is dope as hell even I can admit The Fame Monster is her crowning glory not just because of its broad popularity but because her execution was generally on point that era, unlike during the BTW era. The Fame Monster isn't overrated in the sense that it doesn't deserve the praise it gets. It's overrated in the sense that people keep thinking and saying that the era was beyond flawless and awesome. I'm pretty sure if we got Born This Way at three singles people would have thought Born This Way was the same. It just lasted longer and with the MTN "disappointment", everyone went all out against Born This Way and calling TFM "the glory days" Frankly, the impact of Born This Way far outstrips that of The Fame Monster and I want Gaga to keep moving forward. No. If Born This Way were left at 3 singles all we would have had were Born This Way, Judas, and The Edge of Glory and BTW/Judas suck as single choices. The Edge of Glory was the only single that mattered from this era and even then it wasn't THAT huge in comparison to other songs that year and in comparison to other singles in her catalog. The single choices were so wrong for the BTW era as were her outfits/performances/etc most of the time. The Fame Monster is praised because her execution was just better lol the BTW era was FAR messier....FAR messier. Even the album was messier, not hating by the way I love it just sayin. Lady Gaga has revealed that she will be releasing her new studio album 'ARTPOP' this autumn. The 'Marry The Night' singer had previously teased a spring release for the record, but logged onto her Twitter account last night (30th January) to inform fans of her latest plans. As well as confirming an autumn release, she told her millions of followers to plan a party for the special day. She tweeted: "Oh. And when I tell you the album release date, I suggest you plan a party with your friends. Honestly, I've no idea where Capital FM got that from, but it's the title of the article they've recently published.
