This is not the 70s and 80s anymore where releasing an album every 5 years is okay.I think June is a perfect release date for the album but November is just horrific. I think its a good date, by then her image will be completely revamped, people will have forgotten about her for the most part but in think its worth the risk. I feel like an amazing lead single in august, an iconic performance at the VMAs and a really good marketing team to build hype for the album within the gp. That's why Interscope would never wait until November That's just insane and would take the stupid fake decay theme to the next level. Its good and bad because she has a fresh start so most of the negative opinions will have died down and she has a chance to wow again just off of her music. No prejudice. She's been working on ARTPOP since the summer of 2011 and she's had all of 2012 to work even more on it. I think it's almost completely finished, considering that it's been worked on for a year and a half. Like theyve been so hush about dates that i cant imagine the guitarist would be allowed to just blurt it out. Especially since people who work for her are under confidentiality contracts.
