It was already out. We had the whole album weeks before we heard those demos. I'm sorry, but you're beginning to reach, and not in an exciting way.

that beat is government hooker. like its incredibly obvious and anyone who says otherwise is completely delusional.

here's what happened:

she was looking in her phone while that beat was playing when she said "oh i dont wanna play that one i think its new" she was referring to whatever she was looking at. the beat that was playing in the background was "i can be cool, do da doo doo..." it was probably the concept for gov. hooker before djws made the official beat in vegas. plus, that was back in july, a year and a half ago. im sure she's written over it or forgotten about that beat. we should stop mentioning it lol.

but that logic is basically relying on your laurels and past successes. we can't keep wanting gaga to resort back to redone just for commercial success because he doesn't seem to really push himself. i mean judas was a push, and i loved it, but you guys always refer to his past successes and formulas when saying gaga needs to work with him more, or that he should produce the first single.

Well she relied on Garibay last time and that was supposedly a "push" but I found it quite disappointing. Maybe the RedOne single will be fantastic and it will smash. I think both are equally important. Lets not forget that shes a commercial pop star.

lol no, it's "I can be cool" it's just a Government Hooker or Bad Kids Concept.

She said it was a "new one". If it were a Government Hooker concept she would have said so, in the same interview she played him the Judas and Highway Unicorn demos.

Anyway I doubt it matters, that was well over a year ago its probably been scrapped for like ever at this point.

born this way as a lead single was an incredible push tho. i cant believe some.....well never mind im not gonna get into it.

and yes, shes a pop star but she doesn't rely on her laurels. redone seems like he does. but whatever im ready to be proven wrong when we hear what songs she worked on with redone.

The idea behind it was ambitious but I didn't like the results. Lyrically or sonically.

Bad Romance wasn't exactly typical when it was released. I don't doubt they could make something thats both accessible and cool. They never made anything Jennifer Lopez-esque together but i'd hope he doesnt recycle beats in an obvious way like he did with Judas.

Two days in a row on this forum I have been called delusional for simply being open-minded and stating facts, such as that we had the album before that interview.

I'm nearly done with this forum.

That snippet sounds like a gov. hooker demo to me, but even if it was "new" at the time i doubt we would get it on ARTPOP considering how old it is now and how she seems to have scrapped a lot, i do like the sound of the beat though

Like, just saying. Does anyone not understand that GaGa records tracks a week before the release of albums and makes it a priority to put that song on the album? That's exactly what happened with heavy metal lover, it was the last song she recorded I forgot how long before May 23rd but not longer than a month when the discs were already made. I'm starting to think theres a serious issue with this album, whether it be the content or it being too experimental because this wait just really isn't ok anymore. People on this forum use to b---h to me about making that comment and saying she still has to tour and still has to take a break and this and that. I love lady gaga. Like we all do. She deserves all the rest and all of the happiness in the world. She toured 5 continents. FIVE. Played soccer in Brazil, had all of her fun in those GaGavisions. Enough is enough, and i'm sorry if that sounds rude. But seriously, you have a fan base that is sick of seeing videos of performances from an album almost 2 years ago. It's not like she's been around for 10 years, this is only her 4th album (3rd if you consider The Fame + Monster one piece). While the suspense is good promo for monsters, general society may not really care after this long of a wait, marry the night was on the radio in NOVEMBER 2011. Thats just insane to me at this point. And if she said early Spring, even though at this point I unfortunately don't believe her, it makes no sense that there hasn't even been more talks about the album, or styles, or anything. It's annoying. I really just think her touring for BTW almost a year after the release was just a dumb decision. The tour is so massive and she wanted to go all the way to South Africa (which I get, she has fans there) but didn't plan accordingly, it just doesn't seem right. Especially with her not talking about upcoming music tomorrow, sorry but I don't care about anything to do with THE BORN THIS WAY ball. It's an amazing show and I'm going myself, but you're still doing press for that? Get outta here.

Lets say she releases it in the spring....it'll be 2 years since she put out a record. If she releases the lead single soon itll be less than a year and a half since she put out a single. Like the wait seems ridiculous because we're all sitting here waiting for the water to boil. But when you literally sit and watch the pot for the water to boil it feels like it takes longer than it actually is (especially when Rihanna's pumping out 1 album a year, Katy's era was so successful it lasted 2 years, and Nicki's throwing out re-releases like crazy).

The only thing with Gaga is that because she was so ambitious with the BTWB it took a year for the tour to actually begin and 2 for it to finally reach NA and the fact that the singles underperformed makes it seem even longer. Had they had longevity we might be viewing this all differently but thats not the reality of the situation so idk. The timing was ****ed up but now she has to live with it and its probably a factor in why this new album hasn't been released yet. I personally can't wait for the BTW era to officially just end already and for the ARTPOP era to begin. My guess is that the actual album is probably coming within the next 4-5 months.

I mean with Ke$ha there was COMPLETE silence until randomly single info popped up with a release date and the album info followed soon after. That's probably what will happen with Gaga. It all seems far off until one day its being laid out in front of you lol

I kind of hope Gaga doesn't wait almost a year to start touring with ARTPOP. I hope she tours quite soon.

I understand that a lot of effort and planning went into the creation of the BTWB, but by the time it started, I for one was starting to get bored of the music.
