Remember when she released that half naked photo of her on new years and we thought THAT was the album cover! :smh:We thought the release date for the album would take FOREVER, but we did get TONS of songs before the album dropped! ( Born This Way, Judas, Hair, The Edge of Glory, Marry the Night, Government Hooker, Scheisse... ) So maybe she will also get some "Promo Singles" for ARTPOP like Hair and The Edge of Glory! We've come so far :') 1.The Rabbit Hole A song about wanting to discover new worlds within yourself. Introduces the Fantasy Vs Reality theme. Starts out slow with just an organ and a guitar, then turns ravey near the bridge and slows down at the end again. 2. In the Sea Continues the fantasy vs reality theme. A song about want to just get lost in the depth of your fantasies. Very hard electronic, but not super dancey. Very melancholy sort of like "Break the Ice" by Britney Spears. The hook would be "drowning in my fanta fanta fantasies. Drowning in the in the in the sea." 3. Lover On Dry Land Uses the previous song and builds on the aquatic theme and is about Yuyi falling in love with a man on land. A very fast paced, but acoustic song until the end when it transfers to synths and then back to acoustic guitars and then a capella for the very end. A very pretty love song. Deep, relatable lyrics. 4. Stamp of His Mermaid Another Yuyi based song using Yuyi and her lover as characters to describe her and Taylor's relationship. Mid temp Owl City esque song produced by Madeon. 5. The Rise A pure epic, euphoric dance song about selling your soul to be famous. Basically a darker version of "the Fame". Begins the portion of the album about celebrities. Near the end it gets really heavy dubstep and really hard to understand for only a little bit. Lots of screaming and lyricallly discusses her losing her mind. 6. White Roses A very pretty song sort of like Eh Eh discussing depression and such and how the only good thing in her life is white roses that her fans give her. Basically an ode to monsters. 7. Princess Die Need I say more?lol 8. Tea An all out dance song about how she knows she's right and you have to accept it with other lyrics talking about being at peace with being hated by so many. 9. Bad to the Bone Goes along with the theme of Tea. She's bad but she likes it that way, a faster song with rock undertones in the more typical sense. 10. Rebellious Sort of a follow up to Bad Kids. An 8-bit inspired song with dark lyrics about defying the norm and being willing die for it. Could be like an anarchism anthem. Going against religion and the antiquated ways of our society. 11. Burqa A song about the whole Jakarta Situation. Starts out slow with an echoey drum based cadence. But by the end of the chorus explodes into the Schiesse of the album. Discussion religious oppression and at the very very end it slows down again and she sings a little bit of "Hair" and then it fades out. 12. Break the Mold A song about being fun and different very euphoric and experimental. Talks about breaking the mold and trying to change the landscape of everything through art. 13. ARTPOP A song about being anything you want. We already have kind of heard it, so I won't try to explain it. Her ARTPOP could mean anything after all!lol! okay so that was just off the cuff. I'm sure the real album will be much better and have more dance songs xD I love your tracklist! Some really good titles though I would swap out PD and put in Red Flame since PD most likely won't be on the album. (still hoping element of crime is a song title.) gosh I love when we start a new part for the album discussion.
