socotra 3,309 Posted October 14, 2012 Share Posted October 14, 2012 off topic, but do you think Interscope is submitting any of Gaga's work to grammy? there is an official submission thread at atrl where an insider is posting what have been submitted by artists and no gaga so far I don't think they'll submit anything, being as 2012 was not Gaga's year. She's hinted we should all get iPads by Christmas.. so slowly but surely they'll be hinting and starting to really promote the album by Christmas. The Ap will be out. She did say on LM.com the album will be out "before spring" - so before March. I thought we'd get it late February but that's looking unlikely at the moment. She said the first single will be out early 2013 - so I'm thinking (realistically) she'll probably release the first single early February + do a Grammys performance for it. Keeping in mind she'll still be on Tour. It'll chart well; she knows this and Interscope do as well. She hasn't released anything since MTN and that flopped so the public/radio will jump on new material from her. This will give her enough time to let the song run it's course while she tours. Once the tour ends I get the feeling she'll start doing hardcore promo/interviews/appearances to tease the album and get the second single going. I'm sure she'll do what she did with BTW and release the album after the second single is out - that way no-one will have heard/bought the second single through the album and it will (most likely) do well. Hope that made sense. There's definitely been delays regarding ARTPOP. Mariano 958 Posted October 14, 2012 Share Posted October 14, 2012 I Hope the lead single isn't ARTPOP cuz it will be way more interesting to be a new TITLE and to be very misterious :} I want 2 singles before the album release cuz If Judas was released earlier in the week and it wasn't so controversial It would debute very strong in the top 5 and ARTPOP will be more radio friendly so It will be cool the first 2 singles to be chart toppers and strong hits then they'll be perfect platform for the Album release and for the rest of the singles' releases even when the album is already out.
