I saw the tweet and started listening to the album! With him as a producer I think we are in good hands for ARTPOP. this! listening to Clarity now faith restored after the Kendrick Lamar & Cake thing Madeon/Zedd/WhiteShadow should be a great album i'm sure there will be possible urban influences but for the most part there will be a dance/electro genre Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Darcklighter22 2,358 Posted October 3, 2012 Share Posted October 3, 2012 he's generic because he recycles his beats. he lacks versatility with his production. he can make an amazing pop song like poker face and bad romance and then use similar style beats and chord progressions on the rest of her songs. also his style isn't anything innovating, it was just fresh at the time. have to agree to a certain extend..he did get more famous for working with gaga, but now he's works with allot of generic artist and his label is full of artist signed who never really will get there breakthru..he constantly jumps from an artist to the other promoting them a little bit but never really goes to far. I think we'll get our album of the decade this time. it's going to be really powerful i can just feel it. i can just imagine the sound and the power the team put into it. as much as i love TFM, i think ARTPOP is going outdo all the albums put together. I feel this way with Fernando also, for the most part there's really only a handful of his songs that are truly really good. IMO it's what somewhat killed BTW the multi-layered/multi-genre productions I mean in the fact that everyone will want to start using them and then they'll be labeled "generic."
