Coldplay 217
If this song isn't real I'm gonna :taylor: Sound exactly like a Gaga song and a perfect song for Honey Bee to be on!! 1:34, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XjHONRD9OiE&feature=relmfu This song has to be real!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5COAVgZiug&feature=relmfu Even if they aren't real, Gaga needs some song like this on ARTPOP!! That sounds amateur imo, and I don't like it at all.

Aaliyah 41
She will release the single in 2012, it is confirmed! 2013 is the album release, she also confirmed that! She better not lie to us! :cryga: The single is confirmed for 2013, not 2012
gagaovergaga 0
I know this is OT, and probably AP, but imma say it anyway :P As we all know PARTYNAUSEOUS was originally intended to be on ARTPOP, but she announced it to be a part of Kendrick's upcoming album. And of course, now that the track list for Kendrick Lamar's album is released, we know that PARTYNAUSEOUS isn't on there, and is "replaced" by another song called "Don't Kill My Vibe" which Gaga has backing vocals for. And we know that she has at least one (maybe 2?) more tracks with Kendrick (AKA... PARTYNAUSEOUS). So, I think that Cake was an "experiment" for GaGa. Of course it's just a fun track (and has potential to be more than that), but I think she put Cake out to test the waters (she wanted to see how we'd respond to Cake, a hip hop track by her). We learned about the Azealia Banks collaboration(s) much, much after PARTYNAUSEOUS (and other Kendrick collabs), and I think PN was the first (or one of the first) hip hop influenced tracks produced for ARTPOP. Since the tracklist isn't finalized and she was unsure about PN, she might have decided to give it to Kendrick. But with all the positive feedback from Cake, maybe she decided it was okay to have hip hop influenced songs on ARTPOP and took PN back. This also explains the Azealia Banks collabs, because she's a hip-hop artist, too. Again, it's only food for thought and something to consider. I just randomly thought of this. Sorry for the long post :P
Oscar 1,031
I have a good feeling for ARTPOP..I never liked her choice in producers until Zedd and Madeon's growing on me. The rest are aweful...I'm sorry. :)

Sorry for the long post :P I've been wondering this, too. I imagine ARTPOP will be predominantly electro pop and what not, but I wouldn't be surprised if the album has an urban vibe. Something akin to Kanye's MBDTF with the eclectic genre sampling and eccentricity, perhaps with a bit of Born To Die. It seems too coincidental that last year she was talking about her love for Watch The Throne, actively pursued Kendrick Lamar and Azealia Banks (who said to a fan that a Kanye collab didn't make the tracklist), and is now doing a "joke" rap song. No Way 0
I was a bit sad about this at first but now it's ok. tbh, I'd rather see her make sure ARTPOP is a cohesive work with every track belonging to the theme. I think Princess Die works better as something intimate for her to share with us diehard fans. This! It's been too long since I last viewed this thread. :) Oh, and I am so here for ARTPOP! DirtyPony 9
Gaga better not work with redone again. this is ARTPOP not GENERICPOP Sorry, I hate to break it to you, but he's probably on ARTPOP. The only reason why people call RedOne 'generic' is because he's worked with other artists now. Okay, And? I don't really see the big deal. It's really irritating how all these 'Gaga' fans are saying they don't want RedOne on ARTPOP. What makes him 'generic'? Is it the fact that he's branced out and worked with other mainstream artists? I think that's the issue TBH. The music he makes isn't generic. It's actually some of the best music I've heard in a long time. If it wasn't for RedOne, Gaga wouldn't be where she is today. (As well as many other artists.) So in all honesty you should be him because him and Gaga make great dance records together. I'd be quite disappointed if he's not on ARTPOP. I don't care if he has just one track. At least he'll be apart of ARTPOP in a big way. I wouldn't be surprised if the lead single is RedOne. And I hope it's 'generic' like you say.
