I do think it's a safe bet that she'll perform it on the Grammys though. It'll just be sad that this is the second year she won't walk home with any awards. Gaga's been absent since Y&I as far as most people know, there's no guarantee that her lead single would shoot to #1. It's better to wait until there's no competition as opposed to hoping that her's beats out the rest. Gaga wasn't nearly as big back when Bad Romance was released. Plus, tiktok was one of those songs that randomly exploded. There's alot of difference now - Gaga has the biggest fanbase in the world, casual fans will buy the lead also, and it, just like any new release, has potential to be a phenomenon. Born This Way had virtually no competition. Lady Gaga became super famous with Bad Romance. I think a "spot" on the billboard doesn't say a lot - to be honest 'cause I mean compare Kesha's career to Gaga. I mean, yes, Kesha had the #1 spot, but her career didn't really explode as big as Gaga with Bad Romance. Am I right? ;) As for ARTPOP, I can't wait. She's been out for a long time - people want her back. Plus, we don't know what the new single will sound like - from rumors, it sound like it'll be more commercial than BTW.
