There's speculation that Yuyi is returning and with Gagas new tattoo "Stamp for his Mermaid" it seems pretty set in stone. Especially as she's currently in Copenhagen (birthplace of Hans Christian Anderson (writer of the little mermaid)) So my theory goes that there is gunna be a lot of Disney Princess representations (this could work well in a music video with "death of the blond" as sleeping beauty "died" and was brought back to life by her one true love) ... this also explain the Louis Vutton brown as Belle (from beauty and the beast) is always disregarded as a less-thought-of Disney princess. I think Yuyi will return ... but not the Lüc version, the Kinney version and she will be represented through an artistic stylisation of Ariel as part of her "Disney Princess" campaign (The original little mermaid in the book kills herself to save her lover.) Just like The Fame Monster songs each represented a different fear, I reckon she's gunna do a whole "darker truth behind disney movies" album. It's not like she's a virgin to it ... remember the mickey mouse jump suit in paparazzi and the link between the Yoü and I music video and the original little mermaid story .... just a thought :P x Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I hope there are some sort of disney princess references/songs on ARTPOP. I mean how much she's been mentioned them, i couldn't see why not! And I really want Yuyi to return like really bad. Lab Rat 0 Posted September 3, 2012 Share Posted September 3, 2012 it just makes sense, like you said with the whole princess theory, think about what we know .. we have the potential chance of YUYI returning (the little mermaid) we have princess die (death of the blond icon (sleeping beauty)) we have the brunette-beauty hair (belle - beauty and the beast) we have the gypsy (Esmerelda - Hunchback of notre dame) i almost feel like to express the "immaturity" of the album she could literally be taking childhood movies (something POPular and ARTistic that EVERYONE knows and used to watch) and expressing an evil dark realism to them ... in reality, the princess would've died (Diana) the gypsy would've smoked weed (of course they wouldn't put that in hunchback) etc. etc. just look out for more characters/clues shes leaving, i bet you could relate anything to iconic Disney characters :P xx Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
