The sound was too tinny, the lyrics weren't relatable, verse 2 slowed the song down after the first chorus, the chorus isn't good because it brings nothing lyrically - the whole song says marry the night too much. "I'm not gonna cry anymore" b---h, why you crying? All you did was put your shoes and gloves on and walk down a street you like. The video is too long and poorly edited. The "m-m-m-marry" is treading on old ground as BTW's singles avoided those hooks for the most part. The hooks in the song are not there. Kissing a bartender makes you a loser? No. The only thing it has going for it is the opening verse and the instrumental breakdown. The song is impossible to dance to.

But yeah, totally the fault of the other singles. When I buy a song, I make sure I like the artist's previous singles before I buy it. Not.

No more tinny crap on ARTPOP please.

But... what about how I totally relate to the lyrics and dance to this song every day? The lyrics make sense if you've ever been through a phase in your life where you seriously examine who you are, and worry that by digging too deep, you'll find out there's nothing there. I did, and eventually figured out that constantly working hard -- at my job, to make room for constantly working hard at my creativity -- is my identity. The organ/synth/bell chords during the chorus make me feel like my heart is breaking and someone is right there to hold the pieces up. But that's just me. I would twerk it violently at the clubs to MTN, but I doubt the general public is having thoughts like that Factory or R Place

ahah well I think she won't share us anything until october (like any single) because of the FAME stuff. Here in portugal we'll have some kind of a big national event about FAME that we still don't know about. I supposed that it happen in some other countries, so I guess she won't promote a single or even a album art until the parfum promotion is all done.

Anyway I thing it's very possible that she show us something in the next monstervision :legend:

Let's just hope this new album era brings some positive changes to the BTWB. Cuz homegirl doesnt dance to half the songs, and the hair is HIDEOUS.

I lol'd at this. I think the costumes are really constricting for her dancing. She needs less clothing to do a lot of it (esp Judas, Marry the Night, Bad Romance)

Chart position has nothing to do with whether a song is good or not. There are soooo many examples of crap songs that go to #1.

There's a video of Gaga having a Q&A with fans at the BTWB, and she talks about how ARTPOP is inspired by possibilities or something like that. Coincidence, maybe? :eek:

And I have some reason to believe that Tara is running thedecayiscoming tumblr ... there was a post on that blog a while back when someone was asking who the person running the blog was and they said "I put on Gaga's face" or something like that, implying that they were her makeup artist. That post is deleted now (considering Tara's ever growing popularity :P). And there was a post from a July about the ram being the symbol of leadership... look at Gaga's art pop tattoo. Finally, the post on July 5th about Hustler magazine ("not hanging women up like pieces of meat") and there was a post about this on LM.com that Gaga commented on? ( i think...I don't remember...correct me if I'm wrong).

ANYWAY, really sorry for he super long post. I DO have some faith in these insiders and thought I'd share. I'm placing a bet on some album/single news SOON But I'm definitely keeping an eye out on Sept 6th :D

I think ARTPOP is going to be way more colorful than the born this way era. The only colorful times we had in the born this way era was the edge of glory era and some of the wigs.

Dot tweeted The Endless possibilities while before Gaga told on lm.com ARTPOP could mean anything (endless possibilities). She also tweeted that she were happy for lady gaga 30 minutes befere the announcement of Machete kills. I follow Her and I can find some proofs that she is reliable, but she hasn't told us anything important yet. What about the decay? I follow them too and I also think they are reliable. I'm convinced since they posted somthink like: "OMG There'll be very very important announcement in the next few minutes. Watch lm.com " ... It was something like 30 minutes - 1 hour before machete kills. They were also right about contests on lm.com and partynauseous when they told us to mark our callenders on sept 6th. But unfortunatelly this song is delayed now ;/...
