dc1993 1 Posted September 2, 2012 Share Posted September 2, 2012 The sound was too tinny, the lyrics weren't relatable, verse 2 slowed the song down after the first chorus, the chorus isn't good because it brings nothing lyrically - the whole song says marry the night too much. "I'm not gonna cry anymore" b---h, why you crying? All you did was put your shoes and gloves on and walk down a street you like. The video is too long and poorly edited. The "m-m-m-marry" is treading on old ground as BTW's singles avoided those hooks for the most part. The hooks in the song are not there. Kissing a bartender makes you a loser? No. The only thing it has going for it is the opening verse and the instrumental breakdown. The song is impossible to dance to. But yeah, totally the fault of the other singles. When I buy a song, I make sure I like the artist's previous singles before I buy it. Not. No more tinny crap on ARTPOP please. I agree that MTN's lyrics are flawed and let down what could have been an even more epic song, but "the song is impossible to dance to" ... what it's gotta be one of the most get-up-and-dance tracks on the record, along with Scheisse Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

There are rumors that there will be some form of new music in the next Monstervision and Gaga hasn't released a Monstervision for quite a while (compared to the gaps between the other monstervisions), so maybe she'll release a new Monstervision on September 6th with an instrumental or so.. I haven't heard about it, but I would be surprised if she actually previewed any new material this "soon" I think it was mentioned several times in this thread and actually I don't know the source either, but hey, the gap between the last Monstervision and now is quite significant, so maybe there's a reason.
