Hexxx 2,244
I think ARTPOP will be more of a mystery album. sure it's about love (Taylor) and having fun, but i think there will be songs that makes us go "I wonder what she means when she says ___________" or even in the videos. Uhm...Edge of Glory? that's number 2 and The Queen is number 3 This is completely off topic, but do any of you ever feel like you won't be able to hear ARTPOP? I'm not a depressed person by any means. But sometimes i feel like i'm going to die or something will cause me to never hear the new music, almost like i'm not worthy of it. IDK its so weird to think about. I just want this album/single so bad! I know i'll be fine but i'm gonna be driving myself pretty soon and i'm just scared i won't be able to hear the masterpiece.... does anyone ever have these thoughts? I feel dumb for even thinking this way. i do. but it's coming so slowly because of the activities she's got going. FAME, the tour, and the collaborations. FAME is almost over with and we need to wait til her next break or so. PARTYNAUSEUS can still be released this month, we don't know yet (That's one of the reasons she's not releasing anything) and of course The Greatest Thing collabo. we shall see how everything goes. After the FAME commercial ad drops, we'll see where the music will come in I really hope she gives us a demo snippet or instrumental or at least SOMETHING from ARTPOP in a future monstervision episode. All I need is a little bit to hold me over. ANYTHING please. rumors is that it's in the next monstervision. jhonyguy04 3
Wasn't Bad Romance released on November. The holiday freeze did not stop it....
AnglerfishbraBENUS 5,734
I never really understood what You&I was about. Bad Romance was kinda like a love song right? I need more Bad Romance like metaphors tbh, and I need disco/vertigo sticks to be mentioned on ARTPOP. Hopefully she comes up with a new 'stick' this era!!!! actually it isn't a vertigo stick.... It is a vertigo schtick*******
EnigmaMonstr 26
So GaGa sang one "ArtpoooOoOop" on stage and nobody noticed @6:50 http://littlemonster...35c0cec5f003efd Wait but did anyone comment on how "Artpooooooooooop" sounds like "the NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHTTTT" at the end of MTN? socotra 3,310
Wasn't Bad Romance released on November. The holiday freeze did not stop it.... It was released in late October (October 26, 2009, to be exact), so not yet November. I think that same time would be great for ARTPOP. Now that I think about it, MTN was released on November 15, which is really pushing it. Maybe that's why it charted so poorly. It may not be the only thing, but it could be a very large contribution to its slouchy performance on the charts. Wait but did anyone comment on how "Artpooooooooooop" sounds like "the NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHTTTT" at the end of MTN? It sounds similar, but at the same time, it's completely different. :P
exoskeleton123 6
If Gaga is not releasing the single on September 6th which she most likely isn't then she should give us info on the single. As far as releasing she should release it in late September/early October

Doot 2
Let's just hope this new album era brings some positive changes to the BTWB. Cuz homegirl doesnt dance to half the songs, and the hair is HIDEOUS.
garrettgivre 83
that's number 2 and The Queen is number 3 Think we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. Edge of Glory has her most powerful vocals to date IMO.
misanthrope 15
Eh MTN flopped because the song was not string Wrong. Marry the Night flopped because the songs that were released before it weren't strong. Had MTN been the lead single from the album it would have been a lot more successful. No doubt. Like literally out of all the singles MTN and TEOG were the strongest.
n0ne 13,105
Wrong. Marry the Night flopped because the songs that were released before it weren't strong. Had MTN been the lead single from the album it would have been a lot more successful. No doubt. Like literally out of all the singles MTN and TEOG were the strongest. Umm practically any single not released as the lead would do better if it was released as the lead. That's a lame excuse. The GP just didn't really like MTN and sure maybe timing had something to do with it. MTN is a good song (don't quite get the hype it receives) and I like it but I wasn't really happy/excited it became 5th and final single from BTW. Also singles stand out on their own and don't support each other; the GP could love a lead single and shoot it #1 but hate the 2nd single and ignore it. It truly depends on the song and how Top 40 listeners like it. The singles from BTW possessed her strongest vocals when it comes to singles besides Bad Romance and I think they were meant to display/promote her vocal ability. All the singles from BTW were mainly filled with strong vocals like The Edge of Glory or had important parts/segments when the vocals were really strong like Judas. With ARTPOP I want Gaga and Interscope to pick singles however they see fit but I hope they pick a few singles that really show off her vocal talent. "My people… need to let our bitchiness out. Otherwise, it turns to bile and poisons us"
