Bad Romance came out in October then the album came out the following month. Which is how it should be! She's already starting to tease and hype this album. With the album only due out Q1 next year, this is incredibly early. She's teasing lyrics, and has even played the title track in public. This didn't happen with Born This Way until a lot closer to the release, and even then, people complained that she was hyping the album/single way too early. Does anyone else agree? Hm. I have a feeling that they were planning to release the album this year, but something happened at the meeting with Interscope which caused a delayed release. Hopefully it was nothing to do with the songs themselves and they just wanted her to stay out of the public-eye for a wee bit longer.. Although I hope they let Gaga pick the singles this time. I liked Judas, I just thought it was a poor single choice not because of the religious controversy but because of how it sounds. It didn't seem like something that could smash as opposed to a song like Sheisse thats so obviously more radio friendly in terms of its sound. I also knew You and I was a poor single choice because of its production. It doesn't sound young or fresh, it just sounded dated with a slight country twinge. It seemed sort of obvious her young casual demographic was not going to respond to it. At least I thought it was obvious anyway.
