DanceInTheFlames 154 Posted August 5, 2012 Share Posted August 5, 2012 (edited) I'm kind of hoping for the music to have a feel like some of the songs on The Fame. Not the lead singles, though. More like the other less recognized songs like BDR, TF, or songs like Vanity but much more conceptualized, thoughtful, and mature. Basically more pop music like BJAF, but way less Madonna. I'd be down for more retro pop/disco pop that she used to be so into in the past- and that would kind of work with the ARTPOP/andy warhol type theme I feel like. That must mean he's heavily involved with her album/project. And maybe the lead single producer? Who knows. But I just hope his stuff doesn't feel as clustered as it did on BTW. Cause Born This Way (the single) was so clustered, even though I love it so much. I don't think you have to worry: he was only one of 4 listed producers on that song. Likely more indicative of his sound: Gov't Hooker and Bloody Mary (where the other producers are listed as co-producers) and Electric Chapel, which seems to have been all Gaga and DJWS. Not surprisingly, all three of those songs are among the most spacious sounding on BTW. The "clustered" sound of BTW seems more indicative of Garibay's aesthetic to me.
