If Madonna wants to save the Rebel Heart era, she needs to capitalize on a controversy that's non-s-xual. She should say something controversial to bring attention to herself. And in the meanwhile release a normal, catchy, non-controversial single. One that isn't braggy, either. She is the Queen of Pop, but if she keeps reminding people that she comes of as desperate and over. Then, spend weeks preparing for an iconic and impressive performance. Madonna is still healthy enough to convince people she is in her early 40's, which is a marketable age. If she trains, she can put on impressive coreography without sounding like she's about to break her hip. A fun video that not's controversial in a s-xual or political way  but stll mangages to get views will seal the deal. Her team just has to find a way to get views without using s-xuality, which they can't figure out doesn't work for a 50+ woman. Or they can keep going the route they're going, which satisfies her fan base, which numbers in the hundreds of thousands, but will never manage to score another #1 or platinum album.

Looking like you are in your early 40s isn't a marketable age for females in Pop. The women in their 40s who get hits, like JLo, look better than most women in their twenties. That's why Pop let JLo in for a while.

What is marketable is looking like you are in your 20s, when you are in your 40s...not actually being in your 40s.

It's a sad, but true, reality of the Pop industry.

If that Jimmy video counts for Billboard, BBHMM is a guaranteed Top 10 this week.

Bad Monster Kid

103.5 Kiss FM in Chicago just played Ghosttown. It was labeled as Madonna AND Taylor Swift and it was the acoustic version from the awards show. Wonder if this will get played on pop radio more.

wait a damn minute. If Interscope is going to service Ghosttown to radio like this they're smart. :legend:

To release an studio version of Ghosttown with Taylor playing the guitar would be smart, since Taylor is the artist of the moment most people would be interested in the song.

actually you should it's good :flirt:

hse has better songs on the album

The part I like the most is where she sings a part of Vogue

IHeart radio stations are playing some of the live performances from the award's show the other night. They did the same last year.

I guess Interscope could make it the radio version.
