Free My Mind

I think she'll go back to him at some point, but for now, she wanted EDM dance music, whereas fernando specialises in power ballads - he could have produced Gypsy

His production style just isn't what Gaga needed for ARTPOP, I think. Although he would have done great work with Gypsy.

There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with their relationship, so it's possible they'll team up again in the future if they want to. :)

The album evolved so much sonically.

But also you know, he went in his own path - having basically been with her 24/7 during the production of the Born This Way album I guess they needed a break.

His productions could fit the album if she pushed him tbh, but, it's hard to say what it could have sounded like. I for one am not a huge Garibay fan, so I'm impartial to his being on the album :manicure:

Remember they still have that 'huge song' from TFM days they're saving :derpclausney:

Never again should he oversee a full album though. He did produce some gems like DITD, HML & TEOG...

As others have said, my guess is that he was involved in the beginning, but was waned.

I feel like, if they really wanted to, his and Gaga's works could have definitely gone fit with ARTPOP. idk, I assume they're both relatively flexible as producers. Or, if they stuck with their original style from BTW, it could have worked with a few songs in particular (as rollercoaster and Free My Mind said, Swine and Gypsy [respectively] would have worked).

While I'm not distressed he wasn't on the album, I was a bit sad to see him not included. His work with Gaga had all these layers, and were loud and very encompassing. The closest thing on the album that I could compare to their productions is probably Venus.

3 points in and ready for more

idts. ARTPOP went through numerous transformations. i believe he was involved with ARTPOP in its earlier stage(s). i wouldn't be surprised if he produced the Princess Die demo

THIS. And he produced PARTYNAUSEOUS.

My guess is that Interscope and her management wanted a different feel for the album and dropped the original concept for ARTPOP, which he was a apart of. Who knows he could have some of those old productions on ACT II.

Because everyone kept saying his songs on BTW were noisy and overproduced and basically used him as a reason for Gaga's declining popularity in the charts.

Hilarious that fans are now saying the same about ARTPOP and DJWS, they never learn

Just because his songs didn't make the final ARTPOP cut doesn't mean they're not friends yet or something. He produced Partynaouseous in fact, it just wasn't released.
