I like the ET remix, it had a few more layers of synthetizers throughout the song, improved the song imo. The other remixes are as stupid as this one though.

The people complaining about those who complain are really one dimensional. Should I not voice my opinion saying this remix didn't add anything because I'm being ungrateful? This is no present, she's selling music.

Let's not be like Radio ARTPOP and be all like YAAAAAAAS Gaga! The Rick Ross part slayed me, It gave me life, I cried. It was flaw free. Some people will like it, some will not. Criticism doesn't mean people are ungrateful.

There have been many remixes that have added something new to the original, like ET as I mentioned in my previous post. But this remix didn't really do much for me. The only thing I really liked was the instrumental at the start. I'm not a big fan of Rick Ross so I wasn't expecting to like it much, but I was expecting a bigger role for him rather than a quick "insert here" rap.

I do like that Gaga is reaching out with other genres though. JnD is great and R Kelly was another great feature. Gaga may have been excited to work with Ross, but it didn't exactly pan out to be that great.

I will take all of your great advice and not buy this remix.

Telling us to "deal with it" just makes you look like fanboys/girls that are too immature to have their own views. Grow up and let people say what they want. Even Gaga says "say what you want about me." She's not opposed to criticism, she's opposed to hate. Saying we don't like this remix is completely different than saying Gaga is over / what a has-been.

It's not the best but not the worst. But the point isn't to create an amazing remix - it's to make more people buy the song either the first or the second time. That's the definition of a remix. Gaga's trying to appeal to the urban market with this song, so she's featuring rappers in the hope that a fan of them notices the song and as more remixes are released, it means the song continues to get bought and endures longevity. That's why pop collabs with rappers tend to do really well. Some, like Rihanna, even try to utilise this concept to the extreme and feature four rappers on a remix, which will pool a lot of fanbases into buying the song. And yes, Katy was famous for her rent a rapper remixes with her last album. But her use of this concept was unacceptable because she kept abusing it over and over, whenever the song looked like it wasn't going to #1, she released a remix and it was saved. Before you go comparing Gaga to her, remember that this is the first time Gaga's ever used the rent a rapper concept. I doubt she'll repeat this many times in her career, never mind several times on the one album. I have no problem with Gaga getting success using this age old trick for once in her life. She needs it and deserves it at this moment if she wants a bigger hit, for ARTPOP to get back on the straight and narrow and sell tickets for her tour. It's not like it's the biggest sell out move she could do. Rick Ross is a credible rapper who's Grammy endorsed. When she starts featuring Pitbull and Flo Rida, then we can talk.

How is saying it's awful any different then saying it's amazing? Although I agree that it'd be better if people said they liked/hated/loved it rather than declaring that it is something since people have different interpretations.
