If she is shading Troy...

They both helped each other get to where they are today. He's gotten recognition for his managing ability, and Gaga has gotten known for obvious reasons. For her to shade him after all they've been through is mad unprofessional and kind of rude. Gaga, girl.. scrap the song. 2012 happened already. There's a video that needs to be focused on, y'know.

Well the song's cute but it better not be on ACT II or any other album for that matter if that's what she meant by #DoWhatWeWant :awkney:

Mess she should stop openly shading the people who got her to where she is today

These people may have got her to where she is today... But what's a career like hers if she can't be who she wants to be and do what she wants to do. It's damaging for her! Good on her!

Things obviously occurred between them for her to have fired him. Most likely (as the DJWS comment would confirm) he was trying to interfere with creative decisions, when she's the artist. Props to her for taking control of the situation.

As she's been saying in interviews this entire album cycle - the industry is a scary, man-driven world, and look where she is now. F*** having a manager that's gonna interfere at this point.

Am I the only one who thinks we're never going to get any song via the app? :smh:

No lol, I'm very cautious with my expectations with that 'app'.

Doubt we'll ever hear TEA or Brooklyn Nights via that app tbh :nail:

What you're saying is true, but clearly nobody besides Gaga and the people around her know what happened between her and Troy, but like I was saying in the original post, even if I did have a rough breakup with someone I've been working with my whole career, I'd never go and shade them. I'm not saying she was shading him in those tweets, but if she was, that would be a little unprofessional considering the work they established together. For all we know there could have been a complete misunderstanding. Who knows. Hopefully it ended on good terms.

And the job of a manager is to oversee the things your artist does day-by-day. It's their job to step in and act on something they're concerned with as well as making long-term plans. [i.e setting dates for television appearances] In an interview before his firing, he was talking about the ARTPOP campaign and how they were to approach it with promotion. Then he was fired and it kind of got messy from there. I mean, many artists have complete control over what they do and still have a manager! Managers just help you out and help plan things for future events. Gaga cannot do that on her own, whilst writing music, juggling performances, learning choreography, wanting personal time, etc. etc. That's too much for her.

My concern is Gaga will go Manager-less this whole era and it will eventually become a huge mess. And if I'm right, many will regret saying she should be this so-called free artist without a guy trying to force her to make changes. You can be a 'free-artist,' but still have someone helping you out and giving your their thoughts. That's just what I think.

Allison M

who blocked her?

No Gaga blocked a fan for spreading hate. Then the fan quoted this song where Gaga is saying hate rooted stuff.
