Britney had 7 records more successful than ARTPOP in any ways and 13 years of chart slayage before flopping with Britney Jean. So let's not go there I don't find it that bad tho. I'm waiting for the final numbers but remember ARTPOP price was lowered during the Black Friday so the figures of last week can not be related to this week. Based on her recent comments about her new schedule and finally feeling like herself again, I feel part of her split with Troy was over his demands for her to promote the album at an inhuman pace. The last time she pushed herself to the edge, she became d--g dependent and her body literally broke. She is promoting at a human speed now, internationally and domestically. This may mean she will never sell as much again. It does not matter. Quite likely ARTPOP will outsell Femme Fatale in US and worldwide. Brit's album sales dropoff from era 1-2 to 3-4 was similar to Gaga's Plus she has ZERO #1 albums in UK vs Gaga's 3. However, artists back then had it MUCH easier in terms of selling albums, leaks, and a nonexistent social media. Not to mention, piracy is much worse now. Gaga is selling out her shows# the ARTPOP ZONE tickets, the $1500 tickets have all been sold in minutes in every city available! I tried getting them in NYC MSG, Boston and Philadelphia and they were all gone!Gaga has officially sold out the Canadian cities and Los Angeles already! She is still a major touring artist!
