Actually I was wondering about Burn too. I don't think its that great a song, but if it was performed on The Voice then that would explain why it moved up too.

Superbowl followed by Grammys followed by Pepsi commercial contributed a lot, yes! Impressive numbers. If she did the same strategy without all the above she wouldn't even sell 100k because there would be no hype around her name. She gave the biggest performance of her career this year...

Yes she is a pop icon, but so are Britney and Avril. Also, her promo was so far back in early 2013, and it got B reviews.

Superbowl is huge promo, it can't fade easily. Imagine when it gets combined with a Grammy performance.

Burn was #1 UK fr 3 weeks. Her first #1.

I'm pissed I bought her album a year ago, and it doesn't have one song half as good as Burn from the re-release.
