If this is true we may have serious trouble and maybe not. Other acts had bigger advantages from youtube views so maybe this works in our favor for now... Noone can really know.

Kermit the frog

Radio should definitely count less, it's basically as a few ppl decide which songs go #1 :smh:

Won't make much of an impact? No. The Billboard rule change has pointed that it only slightly changed the HOT 100 system to balance sales, radio airplay, and streaming. But it doesn't mean that streaming has been completely left out in factoring which song is topping the chart or not. This isn't the first time it has introduced a "change" to its system. They've been adjusting it in recent years, and this is the very loophole which critics are using against Billboard itself.

Yes but in streaming there also much bigger artists now like Miley(for now) or Rihanna that will be have a bigger problem. I still support streaming to have a bigger effect in the charts than airplay so I agree with you...

ARTPOP is not selling good and It's not only because of Gaga and her Image, If people really liked the music they would've bought it ..

To throw in a quote: "people hear what they see".

It's not just the music, hell they don't even give the music a change before all...

to think that You and I sold 2.2M with 50M AI only shows Gaga's digital power .. (or at least the digital power she used to have.. )

Yes, you are right..  but still ..

No they changed it right when Wrecking Ball topped the chart for a 3rd nonconsecutive week after the Chat Roulette video ...

I don't get the point tho .. The video have 80M Views, It's clearly popular and of course it's not only because of the song, but The video Itself make the song the most popular in that particular week, so I can't see anything wrong with that :(  But If Radio plays some generic **** like The Monster and Roar, It's ok to top the chart ? Mkey ..
