Imagine if she ends the ARTPOP era with performance in Space (really huge press and hype hopefully) and then she have a 1 year break and then in 2016 she sings at the Superbowl And then release a new album, Imagine the slayage I think she must keep the superbowl for later in her career . Luc 4,775 Posted December 15, 2013 Share Posted December 15, 2013 I have lots of hope, might be delusional, but I expect the jazz album to help Gaga's image a lot if she promotes it at a few major events - BRIT 2015, Grammy 2015 for example. Part II of ARTPOP should be scrapped in my opinion, don't see why she would do that, unless it's a really good album - it's just that the timing can only be awful. Release in 2014? Well, you'll get a JT-like effect: There are still plenty of single-worthy songs on ARTPOP that need 3-4 months: Gypsy, ARTPOP and GUY. Releasing the album late 2014 doesn't seem like the best idea either: too much competition, not enough promotion. Old people (I mean 40+ not really old but still) won't start suddenly buying her albums, while the younger audience won't give 2 ****s about her Jazz album ... Younger generation today is starting to appreciate other kinds of music. That is why a lot of ballads and alternative songs are becoming very popular nowadays. It may not sell a lot but it will certainly improve her image in the media etc. Also, I don't think Gaga's main audience are silly teens. Instead of thinking about the 5th album and Gaga's Superbowl comeback performance you should focus on DWYW that is about smash and the upcoming singles that can become hits and move albums and make this beautiful album a bright page in Gaga's career. Stop thinking about comebacks and Superbowl because when their time comes Gaga will have already spent the biggest part of her career so you better have enjoyed the journey until then since time can't turn back. You know, there's this 'indie/hipster' credibility with people. Those are critics, hipsters, older people, people who choose Grammy awards, etc. If they hear the jazz album and the vocals are as good as you can expect with Gaga, she'll get so much praise and it'll be a bit of a bandwagon. Of course, the younger audience won't care: but do they have to? It's more of a thing with image: Imagine if it wasn't cool to hate Gaga anymore, but instead people praised Gaga like how that happens with Adele and Beyonce, media wouldn't be bashing her which would result in even more respect from the GP, critics wouldn't bash her which would result in even more respect from the GP, and she could win a few Grammys which is great for her image. See Beyonce, is she that much better than Gaga vocally/performance-wise? No. She can dance and sing at the same time, but most of the chorus during her performances she just dances and screams "Jump!" "Put your hands in the air!" "say ...!" "cmon!". Her music isn't better than Gaga's. Her videos aren't better than Gaga's. Her instrumentals aren't better than Gaga's. Yet she has like 20 Grammys while Gaga has 5 Grammys (yes I know Gaga has a longer career), same with Adele. They have this kind of GP approval, everybody likes them because they're such great vocalists and performers. People hate Gaga because they don't know enough about her, and they think Gaga's untalented and ugly and bad because others say so, and that is because others say so, and that is because a few haters say so. During the weekend, I think at around 10:00-13:00 ET which means 17:00-20:00 Spain's time! During the weekdays 7am - 11 am ET which means 2pm - 6 pm Spain's time.
