Gotta agree a bit, because one of the reasons Bey is doing this big right now (and so far) with an album released at random is that she has built a reputation and legacy around her talent, unmatched performing skills and charisma; not "dressing weird", eggs and meat-dresses. The one thing Gaga will enjoy about this most, is how it makes the critics irrelevant. It also make lead singles irrelevant. No bad mojo for album based on people not liking one song. But no hardcore fans to help your singles on itunes either. Overall less work for artist, shorter era for fans, more monopolistic control by itunes, and denial of a la carte song purchase options the first week. Imagine the stan bitterness is one pop girl blindsides another out of #! with a surprise album release Or how screwed some artist will be if they try this and flop. When she sings live is so embarassing... This is why i will always follow Gaga even if she will sell 2 copies... It's useless sell 4 millions for a song that you can't sing live in a decent way... WTH is this? I swear, Katy's live singing gets worse and worse. It's not like Roar is a vocally challenging song or that she is dancing too much, either.
