My thing is, even if we make it to like #12, or even if Unconditionally does, there's quite a bit of a gap between that and the #11 spot. If the video doesn't really help in that regard, I honestly don't know what either song could do at that point. I believe not at all. By the time Dark Horse is released as the third single, I'm assuming we're already discussing about the third single of Gaga as well. DH is an obvious smash, but it comes off a bit surprising that talks for PRISM's 3rd single have now kicked off. I was expecting for them to still push for Unconditionally in the coming weeks (and even months), and actually give all attention to it until it reaches the top 5. I don't think the timing will work out that way. Unconditionally isn't truly a flop yet, so Capitol will likely give it a few more weeks. If it is still under-performing at the beginning of the new year, then they will send out Dark Horse. And it will be February before Dark Horse can really get steam (remember a lot of people already bought it). If DWUW goes big and peaks, it will do so before that point in early to mid January. Roar is still being played like crazy and Unconditionally is getting decent airplay too. If they throw in a 3rd song, DJs will be unhappy and on Katy overload.
